Itinerary
Travel to Llandudno, North Wales
We depart on our coach from your local pick-up point and travel to Dublin Port to catch the ferry to Holyhead. Our journey takes us through North Wales. We then proceed to the Imperial Hotel in Llandudno where we will be based for next 4 Nights.
Dinner tonight is served in the hotel.
Holyhead, Wales
Conwy Castle & Great Orme Tramway
After breakfast, we take a short drive to the magnificent Conwy Castle for a guided visit of around 1.5 hours. From here, we stroll into Conwy’s charming town centre, where you’ll enjoy free time to explore at your own pace and sample lunch in one of its inviting cafés or pubs.”
In the afternoon we will travel back to Llandudno where we board the historic Great Orme Tramway, one of the UK’s oldest cable-hauled tramways. As the tram ascends the limestone headland, enjoy sweeping views over Llandudno, the sparkling sea, and the surrounding mountains. At the summit, there’s time to relax, take photos, and soak up the fresh coastal air before we make our return.
Evening at your leisure
Snowdonia / Lyn Padarn / Llanberis Lake Railway & Quarry Hospital
After breakfast, we will travel into the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Whichever route we take, the journey promises breathtaking scenery.
We will then pause in the charming village of Betws-y-Coed for a comfort break, with a little free time to browse the local shops.
In the afternoon, you can choose between a relaxing walk around Llyn Padarn or a short heritage train ride on the Llanberis Lake Railway, offering wonderful mountain views.
Later, we will visit the historic Quarry Hospital in Llanberis. Built in 1860 to serve the Dinorwig slate quarry, the hospital cared for injured quarry workers at a time when blasting, rockfalls, and heavy machinery made slate mining a dangerous trade.

Portmeirion & Caernafron
We will travel to Portmeirion Village, making our way up the scenic Conwy Valley via Blaenau Ffestiniog. Famous for its colourful, Italian-inspired architecture, winding streets, and beautiful gardens, Portmeirion offers a charming blend of history, art, and stunning coastal views. You’ll have time to explore the village and enjoy the unique atmosphere.
We will then head back towards Llandudno stopping in Caernarfon on the way.

Dublin, Ireland
Return home
After breakfast we head back to Holyhead for our return ferry to Dublin. We will stop enroute at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
The ferry departs Holyhead at 1445 and arrives into Dublin Port at 1800.
