This holiday is an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate great value and well-organised itineraries. Slovenia is often called the hidden heart of Europe, and there is no better way to discover its limestone peaks, emerald rivers, and dramatic gorges than on foot. During this trip, we have arranged for you to stay in two distinct and charming locations. You will spend your first four nights just minutes from the serene Lake Bohinj, followed by three nights in the famous alpine town of Kranjska Gora.
This guided holiday offers total flexibility for all types of walkers. On every walking day, you can choose between a moderate or a challenging route. After an orientation meeting with your local expert guides, you will choose between a moderate or challenging route. Today's walk takes you to the stunning 1.6km Vintgar Gorge, carved by the Radovna River. You will follow wooden trails over rapids and waterfalls to the 13m Sum waterfall. The moderate group (10km) will visit the church of St. Katarina and enjoy free time in Lake Bled. The challenging group (13km) will continue to the Ojstrica and Osojnica peaks for magnificent views overlooking the lake and the surrounding mountains.

Both groups will witness the impressive upper waterfall, which drops 100m over a vertical wall.
6The Triglavska Bistrica Trail+
We begin in the Vrata Valley, the largest glacial valley on the north side of the Julian Alps. The moderate route (10km) stops at the spectacular Pericnik Falls and explores hollowed conglomerate rocks known as the Galleries. Both groups will then explore the Isonzo river and Great Soca gorge, followed by a photo stop at the historic Kluze fortress before returning to Kranjska Gora via the Predil pass.
