Arrive at Olbia Airport, where you’ll be met by your Tour Manager and transferred by coach to the Hotel Palau. Peacefully located within walking distance of the town, this welcoming hotel offers spacious rooms, a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, an inviting bar and a lovely outdoor pool area. Before dinner, enjoy a gentle walk around the resort of Palau to get acquainted with its charming streets and coastal views – a perfect introduction to your Sardinian holiday.

La Maddalena & Caprera
After breakfast, board the ferry from Palau to La Maddalena, the gateway to the magnificent Maddalena Archipelago. Continue to the nearby island of Caprera to visit the museum dedicated to Giuseppe Garibaldi, one of Italy’s most revered historical figures. Afterwards, return to La Maddalena to explore its pretty harbour, charming streets, and sea views, with free time to have lunch at your leisure. In the late afternoon, take the ferry back to Palau and return to the hotel for a relaxed evening and dinner.

Today brings a wonderful full-day excursion to the nearby island of Corsica. After an early breakfast, travel to Santa Teresa di Gallura to board the ferry to Bonifacio. Enjoy a scenic crossing before exploring Bonifacio’s historic upper town aboard the “Petit Train.” Wander through cobbled streets and admire its fortifications, churches, and breathtaking sea views. There will be free time for lunch and exploring before returning by ferry to Sardinia. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, set off for a full-day excursion to Castelsardo and Aggius. Begin in Castelsardo, a beautifully preserved medieval village perched on volcanic rock, where you’ll enjoy a guided visit through the old town. Guests who wish may visit the 13th-century Doria Castle and its Museum of Mediterranean Weaving (entry not included). After lunch in the village, continue to Aggius, a delightful stone-built village in the heart of Gallura, known for its peaceful atmosphere and traditional charm. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, travel to Arzachena to explore the remarkable Nuragic sites of the region, beginning with the Tombs of the Giants at Coddu ‘Ecchju’ and the nearby Nuragic village of La Prisgiona, both fascinating examples of Sardinia’s ancient civilisation. Continue to the glamorous Costa Smeralda to discover the elegant resorts of Porto Cervo and Baja Sardinia, with time to stroll, enjoy lunch, or take in the scenic coastal views. Return to Palau in the afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.
