A Warm Welcome in St. Helier
Your journey begins the moment you land. After a quick transfer, you will settle into your hotel in St. Helier, Jersey’s bustling capital. Known for its maritime history and Victorian charm, St. Helier offers a wonderful mix of high-street shopping and quaint independent boutiques. The town is flat and walkable, perfect for a gentle evening stroll to the harbour to watch the boats bobbing in the tide before enjoying a hearty dinner at your hotel.
The Grand Island Tour
There is no better way to understand the beauty of this island than our full-day Island Coastal Tour. We leave the map-reading to our driver and head west, tracing the coastline towards the iconic Corbière Lighthouse. Standing stark against the Atlantic waves, it is one of the most photographed spots in the Channel Islands. We continue to the sweeping golden sands of St. Brelade’s Bay and the surfers’ paradise of St. Ouen’s Bay. The drive brings us round to the dramatic east coast, where the medieval Mont Orgueil Castle towers majestically over the colourful Gorey Harbour—a sight straight out of a storybook.
Botanical Beauty at Samares Manor
Jersey is often called the “Garden Isle,” and a visit to Samares Manor proves exactly why. We have arranged a half-day excursion to these spectacular botanic gardens. You will wander through the celebrated Herb Garden, seeing medicinal plants and fragrant roses, all set against the backdrop of a manor house with origins dating back to the Middle Ages. It is a peaceful, sensory experience that highlights the island’s fertile landscape and mild climate.
Leisure and Local Flavours
We have balanced the itinerary to ensure you have ample downtime. You might choose to visit the poignant Jersey War Tunnels to learn about the WWII occupation, or simply relax with a cream tea in a local café. With breakfast and dinner included every day, you have the freedom to enjoy lunch at your leisure, perhaps trying the famous Jersey Royal potatoes or fresh local seafood by the sea.
