Jersey Coastal Jewels Tour

This five-day escorted tour offers a wonderful opportunity to discover the natural beauty and unique history of Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands. Despite its compact size, measuring only fifteen kilometres long and eight kilometres wide, Jersey is packed with character. Because it is located closer to France than it is to mainland England, the island features a delightful blend of British and European influences that is evident in its culture, architecture, and atmosphere.
Based in the island’s capital, St Helier, you will be perfectly positioned to explore everything this destination has to offer. St Helier is a lively town with a colourful port and a strong maritime tradition. You will find plenty of time to enjoy the local cafés, restaurants, and shops at your own pace, or perhaps take a stroll along the harbour to watch the boats come in. The town is known for being friendly and easy to navigate, making it an ideal base for our Jersey coastal tour.
One of the main highlights of the holiday is the full-day island coastal tour. This organised excursion takes you along the scenic coastal roads, providing excellent views of Jersey’s famous beaches and sweeping bays. You will see the golden sands of St Brelade’s Bay and the rugged beauty of St Ouen’s Bay on the west coast. A stop at the iconic Corbière Lighthouse is a must for any visitor, offering a dramatic backdrop for photographs. You will also see the cliffs of the northern coastline and the historic Gorey Harbour. Throughout the day, a knowledgeable local driver-guide will provide live commentary, sharing stories about the island’s heritage and pointing out the best spots for refreshments.
In addition to the coastal scenery, we have included a visit to the Samares Botanical Gardens. This historic estate at Samares Manor has medieval roots and is the traditional home of the Seigneur de Samares. The gardens were originally created in the 1920s and are now considered some of the finest in Europe. You will have the chance to wander through the spectacular herb garden, which is renowned throughout the British Isles for its variety and design. With return flights from Dublin, airport transfers, and three-star bed and breakfast accommodation all included, this trip is designed to offer great value and a stress-free experience for Irish travellers. There is also plenty of free time allowed for you to explore independently, whether you choose to visit the Jersey War Tunnels or simply relax by the sea.
