Itinerary
Day 1

Vienna, Austria

Győr, Hungary

We depart Dublin Airport for our direct flight to Vienna. On arrival we are met by our tour leader and our local tour guide. We then travel to the Danubius Hotel Raba in Gyor where we are based for the next 4 nights.

Day 2

Budapest, Hungary

After breakfast we travel to Budapest for a full day excursion. On our guided city tour we will get to admire some of the many attractions of Budapest. Often described as the ‘Pearl of the Danube’ or the ‘Paris of the East’, Budapest is famous not only for the monuments reflecting its own 1,000-year-old history, but also for the relics of others who settled here. The city has two sides, Buda, and Pest, divided by the mighty Danube River. Pest boasts the largest parliament building in Europe which will remind you of a grander version of London’s Houses of Parliament. Buda has its historic castle and medieval streets and houses. The afternoon is free for you to explore Budapest and enjoy its riverside promenade, flea markets, bookstores, antique shops and excellent restaurants and café houses.

Day 3

Vienna, Austria

After breakfast, we set off on an exciting journey to Austria’s magnificent capital, Vienna, for a full-day excursion. Known as the City of Music and Dreams, Vienna is famous for its grand imperial architecture, world-class coffee houses, and rich cultural heritage. This enchanting city seamlessly blends old-world elegance with modern vibrancy, offering visitors a unique and unforgettable experience. Following the tour, you will have free time to explore this remarkable city at your own pace.

Day 4

Bratislava, Slovakia

After breakfast we depart for our full day excursion to Bratislava the capital of Slovakia, which is set along the Danube River by the border with Austria and Hungary. It’s surrounded by vineyards and the Little Carpathian Mountains. The pedestrian-only, 18th-century old town is known for its lively bars and cafes. Perched atop a hill, the reconstructed Bratislava Castle overlooks the old town and the Danube.

Day 5

Vienna, Austria

Time to say goodbye and we return home from Vienna to Dublin Airport.
