Croatia-A sunny view of a historic cathedral during a Dalmatian Coast tour in Croatia.

This seven-night Escorted Tour to Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast is designed for Irish holidaymakers who want to combine relaxation with genuine cultural discovery. Croatia has become a firm favourite for holidaymakers from Ireland, offering a stunning mix of crystal-clear waters, ancient Roman history, and exceptionally well-preserved medieval towns. On this trip, we focus on the heart of the region, using the seaside towns of Makarska or Vodice as our base. These locations are perfectly situated to allow for easy exploration of the coast while providing a peaceful setting to unwind by the Adriatic Sea.

Your Dalmatian Coast tour includes a comprehensive itinerary of guided excursions led by local experts who know the history and traditions of their home inside out. You will visit the historic city of Split, home to the incredible Diocletian’s Palace. This massive Roman complex is not just a museum but a living part of the city, where ancient columns stand alongside modern shops and cafes. We also visit the charming town of Trogir, a medieval treasure set on its own small island, known for its narrow streets and impressive cathedral.

One of the highlights for many of our Irish guests is the full-day boat excursion. Depending on where you are based, you might visit the ‘golden island’ of Zlarin and the small sponge-harvesting community of Krapanj, or head to the famous islands of Hvar and Brač. Seeing the coast from the water offers a completely different perspective of the dramatic mountain backdrops and the turquoise bays that make this part of the world so famous.

We understand that value and comfort are important, which is why this holiday is organised on a half-board basis. You will enjoy breakfast and dinner each day at your hotel, giving you the freedom to find a local spot for lunch or simply relax during the day. We have also built plenty of leisure time into the schedule. Whether you want to browse the local shops, find a quiet pebble beach for a swim, or take an independent trip to a nearby village, your local guide will be on hand to provide personalised recommendations.

With return flights, transfers, accommodation, and guided tours all included, this Escorted Tour provides a straightforward and stress-free way to experience the very best of Croatia. From the Baroque architecture of the coastal towns to the unique island lifestyles, you will return home with a deep appreciation for the Dalmatian way of life and many happy memories of this beautiful part of the Mediterranean.
