Day 1

Vienna, Austria

Travel to Vienna
Depart Dublin on an early morning Aer Lingus flight, arriving in Vienna mid-morning.
07:00 10:50 Please note that flight times can be changed at airlines discretion).
On arrival in Vienna, meet your local guide and transfer by coach to your hotel, where you will be staying
for four nights on a bed and breakfast basis. Meet your fellow travellers over a welcome drink in the hotel
as you begin your Viennese getaway in style. In the evening, relax and enjoy dinner in your hotel.

Day 2

Vienna, Austria

Vienna City Tour and Evening Concert Experience
Enjoy a guided tour of Vienna’s historic city centre, discovering its magnificent architecture while hearing
fascinating stories of the city’s kings, queens and revolutionaries. Along the way, pause for photo
opportunities at Vienna’s most iconic landmarks. Visit the renowned Vienna Central Cemetery, one of
Europe’s most remarkable burial ground and the final resting place of many of Austria’s greatest composers
and cultural figures.
In the early evening, savour a delicious three-course pre-concert dinner. Afterwards, travel by coach with
your guide to the Stadthalle for a spectacular concert by André Rieu. Following an unforgettable night of
music and entertainment, return to your hotel at the conclusion of the performance.

Day 3

Johann Strauss and Viennese Café Culture
Today, visit the Johann Strauss House in Vienna, the former home of the legendary composer Johann
Strauss II, known around the world as the “Waltz King.” It was here that Strauss created many of his most
celebrated compositions, including The Blue Danube. The museum offers a captivating insight into his life,
music and lasting legacy, with beautifully restored rooms, original artefacts and engaging exhibitions that
vividly bring Vienna’s golden age of music to life.
Following your visit, relax in a traditional Viennese coffeehouse and immerse yourself in the city’s
renowned café culture — the perfect setting to savour a coffee and soak up the timeless atmosphere of
Vienna.

Day 4

Vienna, Austria

Day at Leisure in Vienna
Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the elegance and cultural richness of Vienna at your own pace.
Discover the city’s world-class museums, stroll through the magnificent Belvedere Palace, or step into
imperial history with a guided tour of the Hofburg Palace. For a truly memorable experience, optional
tickets can be arranged for a performance by the renowned Vienna Boys’ Choir or the world-famous
Lipizzaner horses. Their breathtaking displays take place in the Baroque Winter Riding School at the
Hofburg Palace, widely regarded as the most beautiful riding hall in the world.

Day 5

Check out of your hotel and transfer by private coach to Vienna airport for your return flight.
