Itinerary
1Arrival in Spain+
Depart from Dublin on a direct flight to Malaga. Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour leader and transferred by coach to your base for the next eight nights, the 4-star Sol Principe Hotel in Torremolinos. Settle into your room before enjoying dinner at the hotel.
2Exploring Nerja and Malaga+
After breakfast, travel to the historical seaside town of Nerja, situated at the foot of dramatic mountains. Take in the narrow, winding streets and whitewashed houses of the old quarter. In the afternoon, visit Malaga for a guided walking tour of the city's historic centre, featuring the impressive cathedral and the Moorish fortress.
3Day at Leisure in Torremolinos+
Enjoy a relaxing day in the popular resort of Torremolinos. You can make use of the hotel’s four swimming pools or take a stroll along the clean sandy beaches nearby. The town centre offers a wide variety of shops and entertainment options within easy reach.
4Gibraltar Day Trip+
Journey to the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula to visit Gibraltar. This famous destination is known for its towering Rock and the colony of semi-wild apes. You will have time to explore, take photographs, and take advantage of the duty-free shopping. Please remember to bring your passport for entry.
5Mountain Vistas in Ronda+
Travel through the breathtaking Sierra Bermeja mountains to reach Ronda, one of Spain’s oldest cities. See the iconic 18th-century bridge that spans a 100-metre deep gorge and visit the historic bullring, which dates back to 1785. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Another day to enjoy Torremolinos at your own pace. The pedestrianised Calle San Miguel is the perfect spot for a bit of shopping, with many boutiques offering goods at reasonable prices, or simply enjoy the beachfront location of your hotel.
7Andalucia Escorted Tour to Granada+
Visit the city of Granada, located at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains. A local guide will lead a walking tour through the old city, highlighting its unique blend of Moorish palaces and Renaissance treasures. You will see why this city was so significant as the last Moorish capital on the peninsula.
8Free Day by the Beach+
Take this final full day to soak up the Spanish sunshine. Whether you prefer lounging by the pool at the Sol Principe or visiting the local markets, this day is entirely yours to spend as you wish before your final dinner at the hotel.
9Homeward Journey+
After breakfast, you have the morning and afternoon free for any last-minute sightseeing or shopping. In the early evening, the coach will transfer the group back to Malaga airport for the direct return flight to Dublin.
