Alaska Glacier Bay

This 8-night Alaska Glacier Bay cruise offers a straightforward and well-organised way for Irish travellers to experience one of the world’s most spectacular natural environments. Starting with a flight from Dublin, your holiday begins with a comfortable overnight stay in Seattle before you board the 5-star Royal Princess. This Ocean Cruise is designed for those who appreciate seeing multiple destinations from the comfort of a single base. The ship itself is equipped with modern facilities, including a range of dining options and entertainment, ensuring your time at sea is just as enjoyable as your time on land.
The itinerary focuses on the rugged beauty of the Alaskan panhandle, featuring stops in historic towns like Juneau and Skagway. A standout day of the trip is the visit to Glacier Bay National Park, where the ship navigates through icy waters to bring you close to massive tidewater glaciers. Beyond the ice, you will explore Ketchikan, famous for its totem poles and fishing history, and Victoria in British Columbia, which offers a charming contrast with its manicured gardens and colonial feel. Throughout the journey, there are ample opportunities to spot local wildlife, from whales in the water to bears and eagles along the shore.
