Itinerary
1Arrival for your Andalucia Escorted Tour+
You will depart from Dublin on a direct flight to Malaga. Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour leader and transferred to the 4-star Sol Principe Hotel in Torremolinos. This beachfront hotel will be your base for the next seven nights, with dinner included each evening.
2Coastal Scenery in Nerja and Malaga+
After breakfast, the group travels to the historical seaside town of Nerja. You can explore the old quarter with its narrow winding streets and whitewashed houses. In the afternoon, you will visit Malaga for a guided walking tour of the old city, including its impressive cathedral and Moorish fortress.
3A Relaxing Day in Torremolinos+
Enjoy a full day of leisure in Torremolinos. This popular resort offers clean sandy beaches and a wide variety of shops and restaurants. It is an ideal time to relax by the hotel pool or explore the local amenities at your own pace.
4Exploring the Rock of Gibraltar+
Today features an excursion to the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula to visit Gibraltar. You will see the famous Rock and the resident colony of semi-wild apes. There is also time for duty-free shopping. Please note that a valid passport is required for entry into Gibraltar.
5Stunning Mountain Views in Ronda+
The journey today takes you through the Sierra Bermeja mountains to Ronda, one of the oldest cities in Spain. You will see the spectacular 18th-century bridge spanning a 100-metre deep gorge and have the chance to see the oldest bullring in the world, dating back to 1785.
6Further Leisure in Torremolinos+
Spend another day enjoying the facilities of your hotel or visiting the heart of the town. The pedestrianised Calle San Miguel is perfect for a stroll, offering many boutiques and shops with a great variety of goods at reasonable prices.
7The Historic Grandeur of Granada+
The final excursion is to Granada, located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains. This city was the last Moorish capital on the peninsula and is home to incredible Renaissance treasures and palaces. A local guide will lead a walking tour through the historic old city before you return to the hotel.
8Return Flight to Dublin+
After breakfast, you will transfer from the hotel to Malaga airport for your return flight to Dublin, bringing your holiday in Southern Spain to a close.
