Itinerary
Cairo, Egypt
Travel to Cairo
Depart Dublin on the direct Egypt Air flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, our group will be greeted by our tour leader and transferred by coach to our Cairo Hotel, where you will stay for the next 6 Nights.
Pyramids & Sphinx
After Breakfast, depart by coach to commence your first day sightseeing. We will drive to Giza Plateau, which is approximately 1hr away to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus followed by the Famous Sphinx and Valley Temple
After your sightseeing tour, we will board the coach and depart for our lunch stop. A set menu lunch will be served in a local restaurant for your enjoyment.
After lunch, we will return to hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure. Dinner this evening will be served in the hotel at their buffet restaurant.

Museums Visit
After Breakfast, depart by coach to commence your second days sightseeing. Today we will drive to GEM, the new “Grand Egyptian Museum”. Egypt’s gift to the World.
Explore and uncover the stories behind the artefacts and vast collections on display here, this incredible museum serves as a bridge between the past and present, blending the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilisation with cutting-edge museum technology
After your immersive experience at GEM, we will then travel by coach to visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NMEC (Approx 40min drive away). At NMEC you can enjoy the museum’s exceptional collection, including the royal mummies, which are exhibited in a new interactive display using 21st century cutting-edge technology to go beneath the wrappings and reveal their secrets.
After your morning of sightseeing at the museums, we will board the coach and depart for our lunch stop. A set menu lunch will be served in a local restaurant for your enjoyment.
After lunch, we will return to hotel where the remainder of the day is at your Leisure.
Dinner this evening will be served in the hotel at their buffet restaurant.

Alexandria
Early Breakfast, depart by coach to commence your third day sightseeing.
This morning will be an early morning collection, so it will be early breakfast before meeting your tour guide to board our coach to travel to Alexandria
We will visit the Amphitheatre and Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, recognised as one of the Wonders of the Middle Ages, the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa exemplify the ingenuity and artistry of the time, it is one the most fascinating historical sites, renowned for the remarkable blend of ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman architectural styles.
After our tour of the Catacombs, it will be followed by a short stop to view Qaitbay Citadel, one of the most important forts on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, not only is this a monument, but a wonderful example of historical heritage and architectural beauty, a visit to the Citadel of Qaitbay also offers dazzling views of the Mediterranean Sea.
After your morning of sightseeing, we will board our coach and depart for our lunch stop. A set menu lunch will be served in a local restaurant for your enjoyment.
After lunch, we will board our coach for our return drive back to Cairo, upon arrival at our hotel, the remainder of the day is at your Leisure
Dinner this evening will be served in the hotel at their buffet restaurant.

Day at Leisure
Enjoy breakfast at leisure, as today is a free morning and afternoon.
Perhaps you would like a day to lounge by the pool and enjoy a swim or perhaps take your time to explore the adjacent “City Star Mall” which is located next door to your hotel, ideal to do some shopping or explore the many dining options on offer for lunch.

This evening, dinner is at your leisure. As your hotel is situated beside the City Star Mall, you have a large array of dining options, or perhaps you can dine at one of the hotels other a la carte restaurants on site.

Cairo City Tour & Nile Dinner Cruise
After Breakfast, we will board our coach to commence our final day sightseeing in Cairo.
Today your programme starts with a city tour to visit the Area of Islamic Cairo, then moving on to Coptic Cairo to visit The Hanging Church of St. Barbara, Church of Abu Serga. From here we will then explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old Bazaar, the ideal place to pick up some last-minute shopping, spices or unique goods as a memory from your trip.
After your morning of sightseeing, we will board our coach and depart for our lunch stop. A set menu lunch will be served in a local restaurant for your enjoyment.
Return to hotel – to freshen up before our final act.
In the evening, it’s a fabulous way to end your trip as we will enjoy a night on the iconic Nile River
We will meet our guide in the lobby and board or coach to depart for an evening onboard a Nile Cruise to enjoy a buffet dinner and folklore show, belly dancer and oriental music. Our meal this evening is carefully prepared by the chefs with a selection of Egyptian favourites made with the freshest ingredients, all prepared to make it a memorable last night as the group.
After the dinner cruise, we will return by coach back to the hotel for your last night

Departure
Early morning collection, breakfast at hotel (this will be subject to time of international flight) – If breakfast cannot be served in the restaurant, we will provide a breakfast box.
We will board our coach for the short trip to Cairo Airport.
