Itinerary
1Arrival in Helsinki+
We depart Dublin on a direct flight to Helsinki. Upon arrival, you will be met by our tour leader and local guide before a coach transfer to our centrally located 4-star hotel for a two-night stay. This evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel and settle into the Finnish capital.
2Helsinki Sightseeing and Fortress Island+
Our exploration begins with a guided coach tour of Helsinki’s iconic sights, including the Sibelius Monument and the famous Rock Church. Following lunch at Senate Square, we take a short ferry to Suomenlinna, a UNESCO-listed sea fortress. After a guided walking tour, you will have free time to explore the island before we return to the bustling Market Square.
3Helsinki Tallinn Escapade via Old Porvoo+
Today we visit Old Porvoo, one of Finland's most beautiful historical sites, to walk among its medieval wooden houses and cobblestone streets. After a final sightseeing tour by coach, we board the ferry for a scenic journey across the Gulf of Finland to Tallinn, Estonia, where we transfer to our hotel for a five-night stay.
4Tallinn Old Town and Medieval Dining+
We delve into the history of Tallinn with a guided tour of its UNESCO-listed Old Town. 6Discovery of Tartu+
We travel to Tartu, the oldest city in the Baltic States. A guided tour introduces us to its rich academic history and vibrant culture. You will have free time to explore the city’s historic university grounds and riverside before we return to Tallinn for the evening.
7Return Flight to Dublin+
After breakfast, enjoy a few final hours for last-minute sightseeing or shopping in Tallinn. We then transfer to the airport for our direct return flight to Dublin, concluding our twin-city adventure.
