Gallipoli battlefields are located on the North West of the Dardanelles strait. The worst clashes of World War One for the Turkish Nation was held there against the allied forces. The First World War in Turkey took place within the Gallipoli Battlefields. Around 100,000 were killed and 400,000 wounded during the nine-month campaign (1915-1916) between the Ottoman Empire and the Allied powers.
Today, the Gallipoli battlefields are silent, preserved as a national historic park scattered with marble and bronze monuments, among the most emotionally touching places in Turkey.
On this tour, you will visit exceptional, historic sites and monuments, such as Hagia Sophia, 57th Infantry Regiment Memorial and the colorful Grand Baazar. You will have the opportunity to experience the remarkable excavations at Troy, the site of the legendary Trojan Wars and the famous Wooden Horse of Troy. You will embark on a full-day excursion to the Helles Sector, where you will visit Doughty-Wylie’s Grave, Helles Memorial, Alcitepe Village & Ecebat.

Fly from Dublin to Istanbul. Meet your local Tour Manager for transfer by executive coach to your hotel. Enjoy a roof top terrace dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight Istanbul.
Istanbul, Turkey
Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a guided walking tour of Sultanahmet, the soul of Old Istanbul including visits to the Blue Mosque, and other sites before continuing to the colorful Grand Baazar and Egyptian Spice Markets. Free time in the afternoon and overnight in Istanbul.
Canakkale, Turkey
Breakfast & check out of your hotel and depart for Canakkale. En route you will stop at the remarkable excavations at Troy, the site of the legendary Trojan Wars and the famous Wooden Horse of Troy. Arrive at Canakkale and check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Anzac Cove, Turkey
Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will take the ferry to explore Anzac Cove and the Sulva Bay area. First you will stop at the Gaba Tepe information centre before continuing along the Chunik Bair road. Visits today include Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly, 57th Infantry Regiment Memorial, Walker’s Ridge, Hill 10 and Green Hill Cemetery. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Cannakale.
Helles Sector, Turkey
Breakfast at your hotel. Today is a full day excursion to the Helles Sector. Visit a variety of sites within the Helles sector today. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Istanbul, Turkey
Breakfast at your hotel and check out. Depart Canakkale for Istanbul. Today you will also enjoy a cruise on the Bosphorus Strait. Check in to your hotel in Istanbul for overnight.
