Itinerary
1Arrival in Düsseldorf+
Upon your arrival in Germany, you will be met and transferred to your ship. Once on board, you can settle into your cabin and begin your Jazz on the Rhine holiday as the vessel prepares to sail.
2Exploring Boppard+
Today we visit Boppard, located in the Rhine Gorge. This town is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is well known for its winegrowing. You will have time to explore the town's history and enjoy the scenic river views.
3Speyer and Rüdesheim am Rhein+
The journey continues to Speyer, famous for its Imperial Cathedral. Later, we arrive in Rüdesheim am Rhein, a centre for Riesling wine production. Here you can visit the Drosselgasse lane or explore the Rheingau Wine Museum in the medieval Brömserburg Castle.
4Linz am Rhein and the Loreley+
After passing the famous Loreley cliffs, we arrive in Linz am Rhein. Known as the 'Colourful City on the Rhine', it features historic half-timbered houses and the 13th-century parish church of St. Martin.
5Return to Düsseldorf+
We return to Düsseldorf today for disembarkation. Following breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Dublin.
