Itinerary
Belfast, Northern Ireland
You board the Ambassador Ambition in Belfast Harbour. She sets off on your holiday in the afternoon.
At Sea
Geiranger, Norway
Nothing quite prepares you for the jaw-dropping vistas of Geiranger. See it all from a viewpoint overlooking Norway’s famous Seven Sisters waterfall, or from a kayak on the crystal waters.
Ålesund, Norway
One of the most attractive Norwegian fishing ports, Alesund owes its distinctive look to the 1904 fire in the town. Did you know Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany led the rebuilding effort?
Maloy, Norway
Maloy offers a weathered landscape enriched by maritime industry and Norwegian heritage. Explore historic harbours like Gasvaer, admire coastal vistas from Kannesteinen Rock, and enjoy yourself amidst the natural beauty of this Norwegian town along the North Sea.
Flåm, Norway
To reach Flåm, your cruise ship will navigate into the Sognefjord, the longest of the hundreds of Norwegian fjords.
Extending over 204 kilometres and 1,308 metres deep, it is a record breaking fjord in which your ship will head southward, to reach the southern end of the Aurlandsfjord. At this point of your cruise of Northern Europe you will see Flåm, amidst mountains of dense forest reaching up to the sky.
In this challenging and remote setting you can see how even a modern means of locomotion like the train can blend in with Norway’s spectacular natural landscape. Take a train ride from Flåm to Kjosfossen: 20 incredible kilometres inside the green coaches up to the station of Myrdal on the Bergen railway line.
The landscapes you will admire are truly unique and will make your journey unforgettable. Nature is revealed in its most beautiful and wild landscape, with rock shaped by rivers that form gorges and rifts and waterfalls that plunge down dizzy heights, and, here and there, mountain farms, perched like mountain climbers, where cattle are raised and excellent cheese is produced.
Austefjorden, Norway
The Austefjorden is a small fjord which branches off of the main Voldsfjorden in Volda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The 11-kilometre long fjord lies in the Sunnmørsalpene mountains about 5 kilometres north of the mountain Eidskyrkja in the northeastern part of the municipality.
At Sea
Liverpool, England
Liverpool is heaven for sport and music lovers, and it also happens to host the UK’s largest collection of museums and galleries outside London. Visit iconic Beatles sites like Penny Lane.
Belfast, Northern Ireland
Your cruise comes to an end as you cruise into Belfast Port. Disembarkation begins shortly after the ship docks.
