Upon arrival in Barcelona, you will be met and transferred directly to the port. Here, you will board the brand new MSC World Asia, your home for the next seven nights. After settling into your cabin, take some time to explore the modern facilities of this impressive vessel before seting sail.

Today you arrive in France’s second-largest city and the historic capital of the Provence region. Marseilles is a fascinating port with deep connections to the wider Mediterranean. You can enjoy a leisurely lunch in the old port area or soak up the clear light that has famously attracted artists like Cézanne and Braque for generations.

Explore the medieval alleyways of Genoa's old town, where you will find grand palaces once owned by wealthy merchant families. Visit the Cattedrale di San Lorenzo or the Renaissance buildings on Via Garibaldi. The city is also home to one of Europe's largest aquariums, which features an incredible reconstruction of a Caribbean coral reef.

Naples offers a vibrant mix of historical grandeur and local charm. Located between Mount Vesuvius and the Flegrean Fields, the city overlooks a beautiful blue bay. It is a place where life is lived to its limits, offering visitors a true sense of the authentic Italian spirit and breathtaking views.

Dock in the Sicilian port of Messina, a city that has beautifully rebuilt itself throughout history. Visit the Duomo to see its detached bell tower, which houses the largest astronomical clock in the world. Every day at noon, a bronze lion unleashes a roar as the clock puts on a mechanical display for the gathered crowds.

Valletta is a UNESCO-protected capital and a true highlight of the Mediterranean. Built by the Order of Saint John, the city contains over 300 monuments within a very small area. Wander through the historic streets, visit the seaside locales, or enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants overlooking the grand harbour.

After breakfast, you will disembark in Barcelona. A transfer will be organised to take you to the airport for your return flight home to Dublin, bringing your Western Mediterranean adventure to a close.
