Itinerary
1Departure from Belfast Harbour+
Your journey begins in the capital of Northern Ireland. After boarding the Ambassador Ambition, you can settle into your cabin and begin exploring the ship's facilities before we set sail. Belfast offers a rich maritime history, providing a fitting start to your coastal adventure.
2Relaxing Days at Sea+
Enjoy two full days at sea to familiarise yourself with the ship. Whether you prefer a quiet morning in the Brontë’s library, a brisk walk on the outdoor track, or a dip in one of the swimming pools, there is plenty of space to relax as we head towards the Norwegian coast.
3Norway Coastal Charms in Geiranger+
Wake up to the spectacular views of Geiranger, one of Norway's most famous fjords. The towering cliffs and the Seven Sisters waterfall provide a dramatic backdrop. You can explore the local viewpoints or simply enjoy the scenery from the ship's deck as we navigate these deep blue waters.
4The Art Nouveau Streets of Ålesund+
Visit the beautiful fishing port of Ålesund, renowned for its unique Art Nouveau architecture. Following a major fire in 1904, the town was completely rebuilt in this distinctive style. It is a fantastic place for a stroll through the town centre or to visit the local aquarium.
5Maritime Heritage in Maloy+
Maloy offers a glimpse into Norway’s authentic maritime industry. You can see the historic harbours, visit the famous Kannesteinen Rock, and enjoy the rugged natural beauty of this town located right on the edge of the North Sea.
6Cruising through Scenic Nordfjord+
Spend a day cruising the stunning Nordfjord. This area is home to the Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier on mainland Europe. Watch as the mountains plunge directly into the fjord, creating impressive waterfalls and breathtaking vistas throughout the day.
7Southbound on the Ambition+
As we make our way back towards the Irish Sea, take advantage of the onboard entertainment at the Palladium theatre or join one of the many daytime activities, such as craft classes or guest speaker sessions. It is the perfect time to visit the Green Sea Spa for a relaxing treatment.
8Cultural Landmarks of Liverpool+
Our final stop is the vibrant city of Liverpool. Home to the Beatles and famous football clubs, the city also boasts an incredible array of museums and galleries. Explore the Albert Dock or take a tour of the city's musical landmarks before we return to the ship.
9Return to Belfast+
We arrive back in Belfast this morning. After a final breakfast on board, you will disembark for your return coach journey home, bringing your Norwegian coastal adventure to a close.
