In general, a lot of emphasis was placed on low energy consumption for lighting, pumps, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and galley and laundry equipment during the design process. The water treatment system is also state-of-the-art. Itinerary
Day 1

Frankfurt, Germany

Following your flight, you will be transferred to the ship.

Connected to the Danube via the Main-Danube Canal, Frankfurt is one of the most unique cities in Germany. After all, it is the only city with a skyline of skyscrapers. A view of the metropolis from the observation deck of the MAIN TOWER is a very special experience. However, Frankfurt is not only a very modern and busy city, but also has a lot of history to offer its visitors. For example, the Römer and the Paulskirche are among the most famous historical sights in Germany. And when it comes to art and culture, Frankfurt is also an absolute hotspot. With almost 40 museums and exhibition houses, the Frankfurt Museumsufer is one of the most important international museum locations..

Day 2

Boppard, Germany

The town of Boppard is located in the Middle Rhine Valley and has many small stores, a beautiful old town and a medieval tower. High above the small Rhine town rises majestically a castle, as there are numerous in the Middle Rhine Valley. One feels transported back to the Middle Ages. Boppard is connected with the Rhine towns in Hesse by a small ferry. There are no bridges between Mainz and Koblenz, as the Middle Rhine Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Bonn
Bonn is an independent city in North Rhine-Westphalia, which is the former capital of Germany. The banks of the Rhine are inviting for a walk and offer well-developed inline and bike paths. The old town offers traditional stores and branches of large brand chains. Not far away is the cathedral Münster. Bonn is considered a university city. The botanical garden of the local university is not only used for research purposes, but is also open to visitors. The “House of History” is accessible free of charge and tells about German history..

Day 3

Cologne, Germany

Koblenz, Germany

Cologne is an independent city in North Rhine-Westphalia, which is one of the few cities in the Federal Republic of Germany with over a million inhabitants. The Cologne Cathedral is the landmark of the city, which is located directly on the banks of the Rhine and the main train station. A cable car runs across the Rhine, providing a fantastic view of the city. The local zoo and stadium are a real attraction for young and old. The carnival is an important part and is just as much a part of it as a typical brewery.

Day 4

Koblenz, Germany

Koblenz already impresses with its unique location at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. The first port of call when visiting the city should therefore also be the so-called “German Corner” with its imposing Kaiser Wilhelm monument. Since 2002, it has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Upper Middle Rhine Valley”. A beautiful view of Koblenz and its two rivers opens up during a visit to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Perched 120 meters above the Rhine, the 16th-century fortification is the second largest fortress still standing in Europe. Spectacular is already the ascent in a gondola of the cable car..

Day 5

Frankfurt, Germany

Disembarkation takes place after breakfast. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Ireland.
