Then spend another day sailing to a city that perfectly encapsulates the Mediterranean vibes – Valencia. From there you’ll hit Palma de Mallorca and spend two days under the sun & stars in Ibiza before heading back to Barcelona.

Go (far) beyond the cinematic charm of Casablanca
It’s not just a Humphrey Bogart movie. Casablanca is one of Morocco’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities. Defined by its French colonial past, its architecture is a blend of Moorish and European art deco. Whether you’re marveling at the ornate Hassan II Mosque, strolling the picturesque Corniche neighborhood, dining on lamb couscous and briouates, or paying homage to the classic film at Rick’s Cafe, there’s so much more to this city than its Hollywood fame.

Itinerary
Day 1-2

Barcelona, Spain

Following your flight to Barcelona, you will be transferred to the hotel for your overnight stay. In the morning, you will be transferred to the port to board the Scarlet Lady.

Day 3

At Sea

Day 4

Malaga, Spain

The elegant central zone of Málaga – a stop-off on your cruise of the Mediterranean – is largely pedestrianized with the focal point, marble-paved Calle Marqués de Larios, lined with fashionable stores, its most elegant thoroughfare.

Plaza de la Constitución, Málaga’s main square, hosts a monumental fountain flanked by slender palms and the terraces of numerous cafés and restaurants. Málaga centre has a number of interesting churches and museums, not to mention the birthplace of Picasso and the Museo Picasso Málaga, housing an important collection of works by Málaga’s most famous son.

Perched on the hill above the town are the formidable citadels of the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro, magnificent vestiges of the seven centuries that the Moors held sway here.

Málaga is also renowned for its fish and seafood, which can be sampled at tapas bars and restaurants throughout the city, as well as at the old fishing villages of El Palo and Pedregalejo, now absorbed into the suburbs, where there’s a seafront paseo lined with some of the best marisquerías and chiringuitos (beachside fish restaurants) in the province.

Day 5

Cádiz, Spain (for Seville)

Cádiz, one of the oldest cities in Europe, is a cultural mecca where art, history, and traditions of the Castilians, Moors, and Romans gracefully intertwine. As the hottest region, it’s no surprise that Flamenco and Sherry originated here allowing residents to embrace the rhythm and vines of the natural heat.

Day 6

Casablanca, Morocco (for Marrakesh)

Popularized in pop culture by the classic Humphrey Bogart film, the reality of Casablanca is arguably even more magical than its Hollywood depiction. “The White City”, as it’s called for its distinctive whitewashed art deco architecture, is a fascinating cultural blend of French colonial and Arab influence.

Day 7

At Sea

Day 8

Valencia, Spain

Quintessential Mediterranean
Known for its fantastical facades, commitment to maintaining its old world beauty and prime location to city locations and outdoor adventures, the Old Town of Valencia is quintessentially European in all the best ways. With winding lanes featuring a perfectly paired mix of Gothic and Baroque architecture, countless impressive eateries and limitless picturesque landmarks it’s easy to get intentionally lost here.

Day 9

Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Hidden coves, hilltop villages and limestone mountains make the island of Mallorca an irresistible stop in the Mediterranean. Palma de Mallorca (Palma for short) rose from instability — switching between Roman, Byzantine, and Moor rule — and blossomed into an oasis. Today, expats and entrepreneurs populate Palma, living la vida loca with the highest standard of living in Spain.

Day 10-11

Ibiza, Spain

Thanks to its iconic nightclubs and star-studded DJ sets, Ibiza earned its reputation as the party capital of the world. So, Ibiza’s true beach-bum personality and quiet seaside streets might surprise you. Once you get to know its free-spirited culture, sandy coves and historic Dalt Vila, you’ll have a clearer picture of the most talked-about Balearic island.

Day 12

Barcelona, Spain

Following breakfast, you will disembark and make your way to the airport for your flight back to Dublin.
