Itinerary
Lima, Peru
Following your overnight flight, on arrival in Lima, you will be transferred to the port to board the Azamara Journey.
Founded in 1535 by Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro, Lima was initially called Ciudad de Los Reyes (City of Kings).
The Azamara Journey will stay in port overnight giving you two days to explore the city.
Pisco, Peru
Famous for its national beverage of the same name, Pisco is a quaint colonial town on Peru’s southern coast. But you’ll find more than iconic cocktails here: Pisco has a high concentration of marine life and birds nearby and is central to mysterious archaeological interests.
At Sea
Spend the day sailing in style aboard your boutique hotel at sea. A short drive from port is the country’s second-oldest city, La Serena. Santiago (San Antonio), Chile
One of the busiest ports on the western coast of South America, the port of San Antonio is the gateway to Chile’s energetic capital city of Santiago.
Following your overnight stay in San Antonio harbour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Dublin.
