Ambition will carry up to 1,200 passengers to give her a true sense of comfort and space in her 714 cabins, 125 of which have balconies and 113 are suites with up to 62m2 of living space.

Her dining options will inspire you with two main restaurants, speciality dining options*, and a more casual bistro style café. Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink in one of her four bars, lounges and pub. Or take in a show in the a tiered main theatre, or discover your hidden talents casino, card room, library, and craft studio.

Other facilities include the wellness centre, gym, two swimming pools and a range of retail shops, perfect for days at sea.

Dining
Dining options really will spoil you for choice, especially at Buckingham restaurant and Holyrood, our two main dining rooms. We also have Borough Market, our more casual dining choice with delicious and ever-changing delicacies from around the world. For those wanting to give their taste buds an extra tingle, we have our speciality restaurants Saffron* and Olympic Taverna* offering exceptional gastronomic experiences.

Speaking of theatre, we have an exciting entertainment programme at The Palladium ready to whisk you away to new worlds full of song, dance, comedy, and wonderful storytelling. Cabins
Ambition offers a range of cabins spanning six accommodation decks from the Reception Deck 5 up to the Sun Deck 12. We have 21 twin and single cabin categories to suit a wide range of preferences and pockets. Our cabins are generally more spacious and cater to today’s climate, averaging 15-16 square meters, with cabin types broadly classified as standard, superior, premium, or de-luxe. Our dedicated housekeeping team clean cabins once a day with an evening turn down service and provide 24-hour room service at a supplementary cost. All our cabins are air-conditioned with ensuite facilities including a shower and ample storage space with room under the beds to store suitcases.

All cabins have a range of impressive amenities and personal touches. Getxo is a town located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country, in Spain. It is part of Greater Bilbao, and has 77,946 inhabitants. Getxo is mostly an affluent residential area, as well as being the third largest municipality of Biscay.

Leixões (for Oporto), Portugal

A short journey from Leixões takes you into the heart of Oporto, with its fortress-like Cathedral and the Baroque Church of Clérigos. Head to the historic Ribeira District, where the narrow, cobbled lanes wind their way down to the Douro River. Don’t forget to visit one of the many wine cellars for a taste of the tipple named after the city, Port. On the ground floor of the Museu Romantico is the Port Wine Institute, where port is served with great ceremony.

Oporto sits deep in the gorge of the River Douro and on the riverside – dominated by the two-level Luis I bridge – it’s possible to look up at the narrow old town streets climbing out of the valley. Pastel-fronted houses with red-tiled roofs line the streets, mixed with neo-classical buildings and wonderful baroque churches. Dominating the centre of the city is the fortress-like Cathedral, which is worth visiting for the views alone.

Vigo, Spain

Home to Europe’s largest fishing fleet, Vigo is renowned for its seafood. Explore the delightful old town (Casco Vello) with its labyrinth of steep and winding narrow streets and shaded squares. Nearby is Santiago de Compostela, Christendom’s third most holy pilgrimage shrine, which may be visited on an optional excursion.

Bordeaux (Le Verdon), France

Enjoy the city’s visual feast of wonderful ornate buildings, broad avenues, marvelous squares and the Cathedral of St. André, where Eleanor of Aquitaine married Louis VII. Stroll through Old Bordeaux. Then visit the area’s fabulous vineyards and magnificent châteaux and delight in tasting their superb wines.

Cobh (Cork), Ireland

Navigate Cork’s hilly streets and discover the melody of Ireland’s most talkative citizenry, who have a way of making conversation. Visit local artisans and witness their skills in weaving and cutting crystal.
