MSC Euribia

#SaveTheSea
MSC Euribia is named after the ancient goddess Eurybia who harnessed the winds, weather and constellations to master the seas, furthering the vision of the ship to master the deployment of state-of-the-art sustainable technologies to protect and preserve the precious marine ecosystem. The ship is also empowered with striking new features. Not only do the decks boast numerous original works of art, for the first time the hull itself is a visual masterpiece. On this unique ship where art meets innovation.

Environmental Stewardship
Advanced onboard wastewater treatment system
• All wastewater on board is directed to the water treatment system, so no water is allowed to leave the ship without specific treatment that cleans the water to very high standards.
• This avoids alien ocean organisms from being transported from one ocean area to other, which could threaten local ecosystems
Waste Management
• Any waste materials collected are sorted to segregate items for recycling
• We have significantly reduced plastic waste through a programme to eliminate or replace single use plastic items.
Energy efficiency
• Wide range of energy-saving equipment to maximise efficiency, such as smart heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

MSC Euribia Pools
MSC Euribia offers its guests 5 outstanding and unique pools, including one of the biggest and most intricate waterparks at sea. The pools are capable of accommodating over 1,000+ guests with comfort.
The Main Pool, 1.700 m2 with about 10 m2 of public space per guest, is one of the most plentiful to be found at sea.

Galleria Euribia
The longest and more spectacular LED Dome at Sea. The indoor promenade features both Main and Speciality Restaurants along with numerous shops. The promenade is destined to become the ultimate destination for socializing and entertainment possibilities for guests.

The iconic design of MSC Euribia
In October 2021, we launched a worldwide competition in search of an artist to design an artwork for MSC Euribia hull, to symbolize MSC Cruises commitment to the sea. The unique and iconic design by artist Alex Flämig has been chosen to represent our message of dedication to the marine ecosystem: his artwork #SaveTheSea will be permanently featured on the ship’s hull. Moreover, the five finalists will have their designs displayed on board the ship in a new gallery.

LNG-powered ship
• LNG will virtually eliminate sulphur oxides (SOx) and particulates, and reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) by 85%
• The elimination of SOx from the fuel means EGCS (scrubbers) will not be required
• LNG will reduce emissions of greenhouse gases by up to 20%
• The hull of the ship (the part below the water) is coated with special paints to reduce the growth of organisms, reducing drag and maintaining efficiency through the water

Itinerary
Day 1

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Following your flight from Dublin, you will be transferred to the port to board the 4 star MSC Euribia, your home for the next 7 nights.

Day 2

Doha, Qatar

It’s rare to see a great city in the making these days, but here’s your chance. Whether it’s the stunning and constantly changing skyline or the massive investments Qatari authorities are making in landmark cultural icons, Doha is a city oozing confidence and style, and it’s as much ease with its modern shopping malls as it is with its heritage and traditional souqs.
Wander the fabulously atmospheric Souq Waqif, wonder at the sheer beauty of the world-class Museum of Islamic Art and its exhibits or head out to Katara to explore Doha’s art culture. Wherever you look, Doha is threatening to eclipse Dubai as the Gulf’s most dynamic city. Throw in a new metro system in the making and the 2022 FIFA World Cup on the horizon, and even despite the Gulf-Qatar diplomatic crisis, chances are Doha is going to come out on top.

Day 3

Bahrain

Like an oyster, Bahrain has a rough exterior that takes some prising open, but it’s worth the effort. The stored location of the ancient Dilmun empire and home to the epicentre of the Gulf’s pearling past, Muharraq, Bahrain has a history to reflect on with pride. Boasting its own Formula 1 Grand Prix, a growing art and foodie scene heavily cross-pollinated by Manama’s huge expat population, and a wealth of activities enjoyed on the azure waters surrounding this collection of islands, Bahrain will appeal to travellers who seek an unpretentious, yet confident country bearing all the hallmarks of a modern, wealthy Gulf nation. This multilayered and multicultural destination is often overlooked by tourists, so you’ll probably have the place all to yourself.

Day 4

At Sea

Day 5

Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

For most people, the United Arab Emirates means just one place: Dubai, the sci-fi-esque city of iconic skyscrapers, palm-shaped islands, city-sized malls, indoor ski slopes and palatial beach resorts. But beyond the glitter awaits a diverse mosaic of six more emirates, each with its own character and allure.
Oil-rich Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s capital, is positioning itself as a culture and leisure hub. Beyond looms the vast Al Dhafra region, home to the northern reaches of the Rub Al Khali (Empty Quarter) desert’s rippling dunes. Its magical silence is interrupted only by the whisper of shifting sands rolling towards Saudi Arabia.

North of Dubai, Sharjah is the UAE’s art and heritage centre while Ras Al Khaimah is all about the beach – with a dash of adventure-activities thrown in. Head east into the jagged embrace of the Hajar Mountains to experience a side of the UAE far removed from Dubai’s gloss.

Day 6

Sir Bani Yas Island, United Arab Emirates

In the country’s remote far west, this 87-sq-km desert island with its craggy interior swooping down to acacia-studded plains was originally the private retreat of UAE founding father Sheikh Zayed. His love of animals inspired him to turn it into a wildlife reserve and bring many native species back from the brink of extinction. Today, 60% of the island is home to 13,000 free-roaming indigenous and introduced animals, including the world’s largest herd of the endangered Arabian oryx, sand gazelles, Barbary sheep, Indian blackbuck and even giraffes and cheetahs.
Abu Dhabi’s royal family maintains two palaces on the island, but if they forgot your invitation, you can visit by staying (or booking an activity-and-lunch package) at one of the island’s three resorts. The unique wildlife-viewing opportunities combined with lunarscape vistas are a highlight of the UAE. If you’re going to splash out just once on your trip, make it here.

Day 7-8

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Dubai is your final port of call and with an overnight stay here you have ample time to explore this stunning city.

Stunning and sophisticated, opulent and affluent… Dubai is one of the world’s most dazzling destinations, a city-state that draws travellers for its heady mix of shopping…tempered with heritage, tradition and culture.

Dubai is truly one of the world’s most unique cities; audacious and outrageous, Dubai needs to be seen to be believed. It impresses first-time visitors with its dazzling demeanour and futuristic vision of a modern mega city.

Following breakfast, you will disembark from the cruise ship and will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Dublin.
